About the event
Join us for the day at Harmony Hills to expand our understanding of the IFS model, deepen connection to our own internal system and experience the richness of connection in community.
Our day will include four workshops offered by seasoned and certified IFS professionals who lovingly teach the IFS model creatively and experientially.
Emergence of Self: Have you ever wondered about the qualities of Self energy and why you may have access to some and not others? In this workshop we will explore the burdens that our parts hold that keep certain aspects of Self hidden or protected. Through meditation and group discussions, we will bring curiosity to the myths and ideas our parts assign to the Self and to the experience of self leadership. We may even find some trailheads for our continued healing and expanded access to Self energy.
Julie Warren, LCSW-C
IFS Certified Therapist
IFS Approved Consultant
IFS in Nature: Nature-based IFS is playful and inspires a deep curiosity, connection, and calmness to emerge. In our time together, we will experience externalizing and embodying parts in and with nature, leading to a greater understanding and collaboration with our inner world.
Michéle Quesenberry, MSEE
IFS Certified Practitioner
Licensed & Certified Holisitic Life Coach
Therapist/Practitioner Parts: It is said when you encounter a problem in IFS therapy, it’s usually because a part is interfering; the question is, whose part is it - the therapist’s/practitioners', or the clients'? As an IFS professional, knowing our own system is crucial. During our time together we will explore, recognize, and perhaps befriend some of the more common therapist/practitioner parts that can show up during our time with clients.
Tish Miller, LCSW
Assistant Trainer - Internal Family Systems Institute (IFS-I)
IFS Certified Therapist
IFS Approved Consultant
The Art of Balance From The Inside Out: One of the overall goals of the IFS model is to achieve balance and harmony within the internal system. A mobile sculpture is a beautiful example of a balanced system where all parts are welcomed, valued, and able to move together. In our time together we will engage in the process of mobile making while making meaning of the experience as it applies to our own internal system. Everyone will leave with their own mobile and some wisdom on balance and equilibrium.
